Meet Me
Trauma Integration Practitioner
Tiffany Shepherd
I live in Mesa, Arizona. I’m a trauma practitioner and educator, dental hygenist, yoga instructor, wife, mama, nana, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. To me, relationships matter most. Relationships can be pretty sticky sometimes, and where many trauma responses originates from. I have found that by resolving my own trauma I am free to be the best version of myself, and that has improved all aspects of my relationships. I love learning new things, and when I’m not coaching you will find me trying out something new, or getting my hands dirty in my garden.
So this is crazy! But in 2014, my husband recieved a heart transplant. It was as hard as you can imagine, maybe more. And that story was always about him, and rightly so! But, I was there too. I was his caregiver and the sole provider for our family taking care of him, our home, and three young children. He had a total artificial heart for 15 months, Yup, they took out his heart! And I was responsible for his completely mechanical heart while he was home. I was trained to be his “engineer”, so he could leave the hospital safely. I was his medical care, and responsible for the upkeep of his device while he was at home. The stress, trauma, and exhaustion of that experience left me a shell of my former self. I’m so thankful I have experienced the peace and healing in my own life through this same process that I offer to you.
No matter what your trauma looks like, I know it can be healed. I believe in you and in your strength! I got you.
